A 1930s evening dress and matching jacket ensemble. Both dress and jacket feature a molded, hourglass fit above waist and concentrated back fullness below. Low square decolletage dress bodice is dart-fitted at front, has draped fullness at waist caught up in released pleats at each side of buttoned center back closing. The skirt, sheath-like at front, has back fullness confined in unpressed pleats at top and joins bodice at shaped hipline seam. Jacket, dart-fitted at front, has sectional back flaring into rippled fullness below waist. Narrow band collar and darted-top sleeves.
