A 1940s cocktail or evening dress in long or short length. Draped three-piece skirt joins bodice at a slightly dipped waist-line. No side seam. Soft pleats from side-back, fullness and bustle at centre-back. Bodice has soft pleats from shoulder and shaped seam below bust. Bateau neck-line at front; low cut-out neck-line at back. Cap sleeves, cut in one with blouse front and back.
